Detailed Itinerary
Day 0 – Arrival in Ha Giang
Arrive in Ha Giang City and enjoy complimentary accommodation before your tour begins. This gives you time to meet your guide and fellow travelers, explore the city, and prepare for the journey.
Large luggage can be securely stored at our office in Ha Giang while you travel around the loop.
Day 1 – Ha Giang to Dong Van via Quan Ba
After breakfast, meet your guide and begin your journey through the spectacular mountains of Ha Giang.
Ride across Bac Sum Pass, where winding roads lead into the highlands. Continue to Quan Ba Heaven Gate for panoramic views over the valley and the famous Quan Ba Twin Mountains.
Continue to Lung Tam Village, where local Hmong families maintain traditional linen weaving and handicraft practices.
The route then follows Tham Ma Pass before reaching Dong Van Ancient Town. After dinner, relax at your hotel or explore the historic town at your own pace.
Day 2 – Dong Van to Ha Giang via Ma Pi Leng Pass
After breakfast, continue towards the highlight of the journey: the legendary Ma Pi Leng Pass.
The route offers dramatic views of limestone cliffs, deep valleys and the emerald Nho Que River. Continue through Meo Vac, Mau Due and Yen Minh, passing remote villages and mountain valleys before returning to Ha Giang City in the late afternoon.
Your tour concludes in Ha Giang, with onward transportation available for your next destination.
